Our Athlete Ready Adult Fitness Program represents a full spectrum – from fitness buffs and weekend warriors to those hoping to eliminate pain and maintain their health for a lifetime – and everyone in between. We pride ourselves on our ability to modify sessions based on clients abilities, needs, and goals.

The Athlete Ready Wellness Program is strongly supported by a network of clinical professionals, as evidenced by our consistent referrals and happy, healthy clients. These functional fitness intensive sessions deconstruct movement patterns to their basic mechanics in order to reintroduce them in safe and pain-free methods.

How does physical fitness relate to wellbeing?

Physical well-being encompasses both health and fitness, particularly highlighting one's capacity to engage in sports, work-related tasks, and routine activities. Achieving such a state of fitness hinges on not just consistent physical exercise but maximizing that exercise to make it efficient and healthy. We not only want quick and sustainable gains that obtain our client's goals for their conditioning and physiques, but we want our clients to maintain pain-free bodies that move well for life.

Appropriate recovery, adequate rest, and balanced nutrition, alongside a holistic approach that includes mental and social well-being also form the core of our philosophy on how fitness and well-being are symbiotically related.

Comprehensive fitness regimens, tailored to individual needs and encompassing aerobic and anaerobic capacities, not only enhance physical well-being but also support mental health by alleviating anxiety and depression symptoms. Furthermore, regular physical activity plays a crucial role in preventing chronic conditions related to sedentary lifestyles and aging, underscored by research that positions the musculoskeletal muscle as an endocrine organ releasing myokines during exercise, promoting tissue growth, repair, and reducing inflammation. All of which helps to control blood pressure, prevent cancer, reduce inflammation, boost the immune system, control weight, and lead to better sleep.

What is functional training?

Functional training focuses on exercises that are rooted in the motions of daily life and can be adapted to individual needs, emphasizing movements over isolated muscle work. Originating in rehabilitation, it's applied in both fitness and therapeutic contexts to enhance everyday activity performance, from professional sports to basic functions. It utilizes a variety of equipment that allows for complex, multi-plane movements. Our comprehensive functional training program integrates diverse elements such as movement, mobility, flexibility, balance, core stability, strength and conditioning, and recovery and is personalized, progressive, and context-specific, with a strong emphasis on feedback during exercises.

What kinds of workouts are best for beginners?

For beginners, full-body workouts that focus on compound movements (like squats, lunges, push-ups) are best, as they target multiple muscle groups, improving overall strength and endurance efficiently. Aim to exercise at least 2–4 times a week, with a mix of cardio and strength training to balance workout intensity and allow for recovery.


Remember that correct form is vital to achieving results and avoiding injury. Warm-ups that not only encourage blood flow but that also focus on muscle and joint decompression are also important, as are recovery routines that help flush out muscles of built up acids and any compression from the workout itself.


You should always feel good after a workout and in the following days. If your workouts are making your body ache, move poorly, or in any way feel off, it is important to reassess your program and consult a professional if you are exercising on your own without the help of a coach.

Can I still exercise if I have a health condition?

If you have a health condition, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any exercise program. They can offer guidance tailored to your specific needs and conditions, ensuring that your fitness journey is safe and effective. We have a community of trusted providers to whom we can refer you.

Once you have been cleared by a medical professional, we have extensive experience dealing with a range of health conditions in our clients, and tailoring programs that allow them to improve their fitness and wellness while adjusting for their unique needs.

What is your schedule of fitness and wellness classes?

We offer classes throughout the day and evenings during the week, and in the morning on Saturdays. Please give us a call today to find out about our current classes and schedule.

What are your prices?

Prices depend on frequency and commitment. The more classes or sessions per week and the longer the commitment, the lower the price. We also have discounts when nutrition and/or massage are included.
